As we are stepping in 2020, we decided to summarize 2019 and have a look at the most prominent events that shaped Flat Rock Technology! This year has been wonderful for us and we are delighted to share our most exciting achievements and milestones with you!
We became Gold Microsoft Partner for DevOps
We kicked off 2019 by becoming a Gold DevOps Microsoft Partner. By adding it to our existing Microsoft Gold Application Development status we deepened our collaboration with the partners like Microsoft. Being Gold Microsoft Partner for DevOps was one of the most prominent achievement. It recognized our success in supporting various businesses in software lifecycle management and emphasized our dedication and commitment to excellence.
It is not an achievement for Flat Rock Technology only but carries great value to our clients. This gives them multiple operational and financial benefits, access to an array of programs and the possibility to have a streamlined continuous development by leveraging Microsoft DevOps tools. It creates a great opportunity for them to strengthen customer relationships by implementing DevOps on Azure and Software Assurance advantages.
We attended Cloud Expo Europe
We participated in the UK’s biggest and most comprehensive cloud computing focused event - Cloud Expo Europe for the first time! Our team had an opportunity to be amongst 600 cutting edge-exhibitors and sponsors and host over 20 000 visitors from all over the world. Attending Cloud Expo gave us an enormous possibility to meet and engage with technology professionals and form long-lasting partnerships. Being amongst the world-leading companies at Cloud Expo and highlighting benefits that Flat Rock Technology can provide to the businesses was an event that made our year more exciting.
We expanded our company by establishing a new office in Tbilisi
This year we made a huge step ahead for our future growth by establishing our new office in Tbilisi, Georgia. It is our third office location after Varna, Bulgaria and London, United Kingdom. Expansion in Tbilisi gave us access to the talented professionals that are a great addition to the team of Flat Rock Technology. With it, we are hoping to increase our capacity and the quality of our products even further. With this expansion, we started the new phase for our company and are looking forward to creating great things.
We Secured G-Cloud 11 Status in Government’s Digital Marketplace
In July we had the honour to be approved to provide cloud-based services to the public organisations in the UK through the Government’s Digital Marketplace. We have been approved to provide services under the Cloud Hosting Category and Cloud Support category.
We achieved Microsoft’s Silver Cloud Platform Competency
2019 had more on hold for us! In August we earned Microsoft’s Silver Cloud Platform Competency! To achieve it we, as Microsoft Partners, were required to demonstrate proven Azure performance and expertise through strict technical assessment. We were proud to meet all requirements and earn the third competency within the Microsoft Partner Program! All of which will help us in our endeavours to meet the evolving needs of our clients in today’s Cloud-first world.
We secured a place on the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 Framework
This year not only we secured the G-Cloud 11 Status mentioned above but were awarded a place on the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 framework. Meaning that Flat Rock Technology was approved to provide services to the UK public organizations through the new Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 framework under two categories: Digital Outcomes and Digital Specialists. Flat Rock Technology offers multiple solutions under these two categories including software development, testing and auditing, user research, agile coaching, technical architect and many more. You can agree we had a very busy year filled with exciting new projects and recognitions!
We were recognized as a top B2B provider of custom software solutions by Clutch
Speaking of recognition - in the October we were featured among the leading B2B service providers in Eastern Europe by Clutch. That’s not everything, we were also named one of the Clutch Leaders in Bulgaria for application development! The reward came after carefully interviewing past and current clients to determine the top-performing companies in Europe. This recognition was an acknowledgement of our excellence and dedication to our work for which we cannot thank our clients enough!
We were named as a Global Leader in custom software development by Clutch
There could not have been a better finish of the year than being listed as a Global Leader in custom Software development by Clutch. In December, Flat Rock Technology was named as a Global Leader and was featured in the Clutch 1000 list. This was truly a perfect ending for 2019 and a great validation of our 10-year expertise!
We grew - Our clients did too!
This year brought us many inspiring moments, new challenges and recognitions. At the end of it, we are a step ahead from where we started in 2019 and closer to what we are striving for. This could have never been achieved without the effort of our team. In 2019 we have seen an enormous growth by adding more than 60 talented professionals that are creating top-notch solutions for our clients. Together we worked on over 25 projects in 2019 to help our clients grow too!
